my substack is ‘you can call me al’ and it was started early summer 2024. you can call me al is a creative outlet and my passion project. each week (or so) i share my thoughts and feelings on something going on in my life or in the world — mostly in the form of personal essays. sometimes my pieces will be a marriage of cultural critique and current events! it’s a fun, wonderful outlet and special community!
